Vic: Three detectives charged, suspended from duty
MELBOURNE, Aug 30 AAP - Three Victoria Police detectives have been charged by the force'sEthical Standards Department for obtaining property by deception last year.
A detective sergeant and two senior detectives were each charged with one count ofconspiracy to commit an indictable offence, and three counts of obtaining property bydeception, a police spokesman said.
They are all from the St Kilda Road Police complex in Melbourne.
The men have been suspended from duty and charged on summons to appear in the MelbourneMagistrates Court at a later date.
A fourth person, a former policeman, has also been charged with one count of conspiracyto commit an indictable offence and one count of obtaining property by deception.
