SA: Rebel Labor MP sets up new party
ADELAIDE, Feb 5 AAP - South Australia has a new party in state parliament following the
resignation last year of upper house MP Terry Cameron from the ALP.
Mr Cameron said he had decided to set up the SA First parliamentary party.
He said if he could attract 150 members, which appeared fairly easy judging by the early
response, he would then register SA First as an official political party.
"I see SA First being a centre-based party offering an alternative to what both the Liberal
Party and the Labor Party have done," Mr Cameron told ABC …
