FED:Minchin criticises Turnbull
Recently retired federal coalition powerbroker NICK MINCHIN has attacked MALCOLM TURNBULL
for being utterly preoccupied with Liberal Party conservatives.
In a letter to The Australian newspaper, the former senator says Mr TURNBULL'S preoccupation
reveals the frontbencher can't get over losing the Liberal leadership in 2009.
Mr MINCHIN, who played a key role in TONY ABBOTT replacing Mr TURNBULL, says it was
Mr TURNBULL'S deficiencies as a leader that led to his demise, not the conservatives.
His comments follow mid-week remarks by Mr TURNBULL on the need for the Liberal Party
not to lurch to the right.
